The Beths are a New Zealand indie rock/pop band, originally from Auckland, New Zealand that combines energized guitar riffs, melodic hooks, and harmonized backing vocals in their impulsive indie rock. Lead vocalist and guitarist Elizabeth Stokes met guitarist Jonathan Pearce and bassist Benjamin Sinclair while they were all in bands in high school. While playing underground gigs around Auckland, they befriended drummer Tristan Deck, who joined the group in 2019.

We're on the Same Train
The lead single to my upcoming third LP, that I’ve been hard at work hard on. This track is about someone so paranoid at the growth in technology, that they begin to have delusions about a robot apocalypse completely destroying their town. The repeated line “we’re on the same train, going nowhere” is a metaphor for the idea that while technology is ever-growing, it may someday only further true human creation into the past. This is one of my favorite tracks of mine. If you dig the song, I'd appreciate if you voted for it on the spotlight playlist! Thank you!
